Three Panos photographers – Ivor Prickett, Tommy Trenchard and Mads Nissen – have been included in the prestigious PDN Photo Annual 2018 for their work in Iraq and South Sudan in the Photojournalism/Documentary category.

Ivor Prickett was recognised for his work on the Battle for Mosul, commissioned by the New York Times.

Tommy Trenchard also covered the Battle for Mosul.

and Mads Nissen visited some of the most inaccessible parts of war-torn South Sudan to cover the refugee and IDP crisis there.
