Three Panos photographers win UNICEF Photo of the Year prizes

Three Panos photographers – Pascal Maitre, Ivor Prickett and Jérôme Gence – have been honoured at this year’s UNICEF Photo of the Year awards for their work on children around the world.

Pascal Maitre
won the 2nd Prize for his work on the effects of monkey pox on children in the Democratic Republic of Congo.

Jérôme Gence
has been awarded an Honourable Mention for his work on the effect of mobile phones and technology on the lives of children in France.

Ivor Prickett
was also awarded an Honourable Mention for his work on children who have fled from the war in Sudan and are living in refugee camps in neighbouring Chad.
