Virtually Able
Japan’s average life expectancy was the highest in the world, at 83.7 years, in 2015 according to the World Health Organisation, with men living to an average of 80.5 years and women to 86.8. But what’s the point of living longer if you’re not happy? Psychotherapist Kenta Toshima has some ingenious ideas. He reckons that happiness can be found in a virtual journey.
Toshima has spent most of his savings travelling around the world, recording his far-flung travels on video which he brings back to show his patients via virtual reality films.
